Meet the Team: Greg (he/his)
This week’s Meet the Team is on our Director of Real Estate Growth, Greg Toomey.

Being new to the team, we were excited to get to know him, and were so pleasantly surprised by not only his charming southern accent, but unedited and relatable sense of humor. This straight shooter is the life of the party co-worker we all need, and the perfect person to sit down with at 9 AM.
What is your coffee order?
Venti iced almond milk latte with monk fruit. Did you know that was at Starbucks? I’m just being boujee…it’s really just stevia. Sounds fantastic right? Super exotic…but it’s not.
What’s your walk out/pump up song?
Proud by Heather Small Remix. This song really feeds my soul and just gets me moving.
Tell us one thing that really makes you…you.
Once you know me, you know me. I’m an open book and anxiously want to find out what I can about others, what makes them, them.
What makes you feel at home at Alfred?
I really like the energy, mission, and inclusion of the Alfred culture.
What are your 3 deserted island items?
It’s hard to say because what are the parameters? Is electricity available? I’m assuming yes, so the items are air conditioning, Pop Tarts, and an elliptical machine (because, well, Pop Tarts).
What does community mean to you?
Being connected and feeling like you belong and a part of something is hard wired into my DNA. I love that Alfred delivers on that beautifully through thoughtful “can’t miss” resident events and curated personal services designed to pamper and spoil.
Now that you’re here, what is one thing you’re excited to make happen at Alfred?
Even though Alfred is a luxury feeling product and service, I’m excited to show clients that it’s totally scalable for any property, anywhere. Everyone deserves to feel excited about going home. I love that…don’t you?
3 most used apps on your phone/3 apps you can’t live without
Spotify, Instagram, and of course my Chick-Fil-A delivery app.
Something you learned during the pandemic?
I learned that “home” means more to me than it did before the pandemic. It has long been where I lived and worked but it is also a safe haven, personal movie theatre, great experiential restaurant, and date spot. It is where I relax best, be myself, and hide away if needed. At Alfred we really have an opportunity to really make a difference because everyone is realigning what social is and what a connection is all about.
Two truths and a lie.
I played the trumpet in the high school band. I once broke my leg rollerblading. I make a mean spaghetti bolognese. The lie is that I make a mean spaghetti bolognese, I do not cook. I’m in charge of lighting, music and cocktails in my household.
