Sit down with Dan Harsell, our Regional Client Services Manager

This week’s spotlight is on the team member we turn to anytime we need to wow a resident, or make their life easier with an organized and premeditated solution. Dan Harsell, our Regional Client Services Manager, is the driving force of our southern region, shining brighter than ever with his streamlined and collaborative approach.
Coffee order?
Iced coffee! Raspberry Mocha or Hazelnut Cappuccino are my favorite.
What’s your pump up song?
Lately, I’ve been in a 90’s R&B/ Hip Hop phase right now, so that’s my go-to playlist. I’m a huge Mariah Carey fan, but this playlist gets me going with anything upbeat and classic.
Tell us about what makes you…you.
It may come as a surprise to those who know me, however, I’m from a small town in the Midwest and really appreciate a simple life. There’s nothing better than a glass of sweet tea relaxing in the backyard! My superpower is organization and streamlining processes. If you need to make sense of something or add structure, I’m your guy!
Where were you before Alfred?
Prior to Alfred, I was an Assistant Buyer in the Beauty Department for Neiman Marcus. I was actually recruited to Alfred by my previous manager at a luxury retail store. And now she’s my manager here at Alfred!
What makes you feel most at home at Alfred?
At Alfred, I can be myself and celebrate the diversity of the #oneteam, the Alfred family provides. We each have so much to offer and bring our unique backgrounds to the table in all we set out to achieve. Plus, we have such an amazing culture. This is something I’m most proud to be a part of!
What are your 3 deserted island items?
Anything with chocolate (especially baked goods), my iPhone, and a margarita.
What does community mean to you?
Community means a feeling of being at home and coming together with others to celebrate.
Something you learned during the pandemic/something you wished you learned.
Self-care! Whether it be at home teeth whitening to making my own masks, just appreciating that it is so important to take more time to rest, relax, and recharge. It’s just so good for you!
