What services do we offer?
Here are just a few of the countless tasks we’re able to take off your hands.
We’ll make your bed, take out your trash, wipe down surfaces, do your dishes, fluff your pillows, and generally neaten your living space once a week.
We’ll deliver all of your weekly essentials safely to your door, from paper towels to pints of ice cream.
laundry and dry cleaning
We’ll pick up your weekly wash, bring it back fluffed and folded, and place it at the foot of your bed or hung neatly in your closet.
We’ll arrange fresh flowers from your local florist or grocery store. Just tell us what kinds you like or let it be a surprise!
We’ll coordinate a top-to-bottom service with one of our preferred local partners, who will scrub, buff, and shine your home to perfection.
Whether you need supplies from the hardware store or housewares from Bed, Bath & Beyond, we’ll pick up specialty items from whatever retailer you request.
We’ll help you feel even better about decluttering your home by bringing any unwanted items to your local collection center.
Never go through the hassle of returning an online purchase again! Leave the address and item and we’ll ship it from your local shipment business.

How will you charge me for goods and services?
If we do pay for anything on your behalf (e.g., groceries, dry cleaning), we’ll pass that cost on to you plus a 3.5% service fee. In these cases as well as premium services like home cleanings, you’ll be charged using the billing information you provide in the Hello Alfred app.
When should I expect my Alfred to visit?
Your Alfred will complete your requests on your regular service day, visiting between the hours of 9AM and 5PM. We cannot guarantee the exact time, but will take requests into consideration.
Besides the ones listed above, what other services do you provide?
To see all of the options available to you, simply tap the “A” Button in your app. Your Alfred will either carry out the request themself or will oversee a trusted independent contractor on your behalf for more involved tasks like TV mounting, artwork hanging, or deep cleaning.
Will the same Alfred visit me every week?
Yes! You can look forward to your dedicated Alfred becoming increasingly able to anticipate your needs as they get to know you better and vice versa. On occasions when your Alfred is out sick or on vacation, we’ll notify you in advance and introduce you to their temporary substitute, who will always be a full-time, trained employee as well.
What if something breaks?
Our Alfreds take great care, but we all know that accidents can happen. Not only are we insured for up to $2 million against damages and $1 million against theft, but all of our service partners are also insured.
What if I have a pet?
At Hello Alfred, we love animals! We always include four-legged family members in our onboarding to make sure they’ll be comfortable with a new face in their space and we’ll work with you to find a solution if they’re not.
Do I need to be home when my Alfred visits?
Absolutely not — that’s half the beauty of our model! On your service day, your Alfred will get your spare apartment key from your building’s front desk or leasing office, let themself in and complete your requests, lock up when they’re finished, and return the key before leaving. They will never leave the property with your key, so your home’s security is never a concern.
